    External booking schedule

    OpenFlyers offers aeronautical structures a reservation module intended for external customers, ie the general public. This is to allow a person who has no connection with the structure to be able to make a reservation online in total autonomy. This is suitable, for example, for first flights, otherwise known as "discovery flights" for flying clubs or for one-off flights that may be offered by ULMs or on-demand flight companies.

    The configuration of this functionality makes it possible to define the resources and pilots open to this activity.

    As soon as the functionality is activated, the booking process for an end customer is extremely simple :

    1. Purchase of the coupon on the Aero Club website or on a partner e-commerce platform
    2. Receipt of an email to obtain the reference code
    3. Fill in the reference code on the website of the aeroclub
    4. Redirection to the OpenFlyers platform
    5. Verification of the reference code thanks to a REST API
    6. If the code is valid, the reservation schedule is displayed, otherwise an error message "Invalid purchase reference number" is displayed
    7. Choice of the desired niche among the available niches
    8. Entering contact details
    9. Receipt of an email to confirm the reservation
    10. Editing of the coupon with all the useful information: day, time, name of the pilot, etc.
    11. Sending a message to the e-commerce API to confirm the allocation of the coupon to a booking

    Once the booking is confirmed, it appears on the internal booking schedule. Like any other reserved slot, the structure has the possibility to modify its content.

    When the external reservation is confirmed, a user is automatically created with a specific profile. Thus, if this person wishes to make an external reservation again, he or she will already be registered. And if he/she wishes to become a member or regular customer of the structure, he/she will only have to complete his/her file and modify his/her profile.
